'Philosophy bites' is a good thing, but I am not convinced that academic philosophers have an obligation to engage the wider public in all that they do. Nor is it true that all philosophy can be made accessible. Nor am I convinced that 'the core' of philosophy is 'how we live: moral questions, political questions'. So a score-draw, I reckon.
